After the Patina

 While at Shepherd University completing my Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree I was heavily impacted by the building in which I create. After four years existing in such a behemoth of a structure I wanted more than anything to use it in my pieces for my final art history class of undergrad. Inspired by Rosemary Valero O'Connell, one of my favorite illustrators, I took on the project of glorifying aspects of the building by adding fantasy characters and bright colors to create interest. These drawings have a special connection to all students and professors in the department that I think is incredibly special and invaluable.
