Laura Wilt is currently a student at Shepherd University experimenting with a wide range of mediums as they pursue their BFA in painting and drawing. Before and during their studies at Shepherd they have explored a plethora of mediums and processes through layering and college-esque manipulation both physically and digitally. Despite the variation of mediums used, Laura's aesthetic remains clean, precise, and colorful; they prefer utilizing neat linework and movement in order to express complex emotions and stories.
So far in their career, Laura has exhibited in a plethora of places and won a handful of awards for their heartfelt work. They have been published in West Virginia by Sans Merci, the Shepherdstown Art Magazine, and You're Not Seeing Things Magazine, New York City by ChillMag, and won Best in Show at the 2023 Student Honors Exhibition at Shepherd University. You can usually find Laura drawing or painting in a sunny place while listening to cosmic horror fiction podcasts.
